Dr Narayan Swami speaks about Swamiji

Friends, I would like to record my opinion and feelings and the little knowledge that I possess about the Great Maharaj about whom I would like to say a few things. Swami Satya Prakash is a Great realized soul and an outstanding Bharatiya in all respect of the term. I have been given the opportunity to know him intimately during the last few months of my stay in Vancouver, BC Canada. I came into contact with him months back. From the very first day onwards an inner urge in me pushed me towards him. He is a great Yogi, Tapasvi, very knowledgeble, well-read with a massive academic background behind him. He is a Great Tapasvi, a Great Yogi, a Great Muni, possessor of great knowledge and wisdom of Bharatiya culture, deeply well-read in all the holy scriptures, Vedas, Vedangas and many others. Above all, he means to all people all things. Always in a hillarious and happy mood. His very prescence is a solace to people who have some kinds of difficulties in them. His very presence is rejuvenating and helpful to weed away our difficulties and our discomforts. His knowledge of the Shastras is so deep that he can recall back anything suitably with a figurative approach. Though I cannot understand Hindi and Punjabi, I am able to appreciate his upanyaasas, his discources because of the way in which he puts things very logically scientifically rationally and principally. He brings happiness and divine atmosphere to a place where ever he goes. The other day, I had been fortunate enough to meet him for an hour or so, when he gave a beautiful lecture on how the Asanas help us to give us a kind of deep understanding on how Asanas and different postures relieve our mental tensions, pressure etc. I was indeed awe struck by the way in which he physically gave us how to proceed with Asanas to develop every human being in their full grown individual. Much more than that the unique phenomena of him is that he never gets angry with anybody he comes in contact with whatsoever way. He never asks for anything. During the last 50-60 years of my existence, I have been given the opportunity to be in close contact with Maha Yogis like Raman Maharishi, Shringeri Sachhidanand Shankaracharya. I belong to the Rishi parampara of Dakshinaaiyangar Shringeri Shardapeeth. I found in Swamiji the elegance and elite presence, the kind of divinity personification. His ideas encompass all divisions of human knowledge. He is very rational, logical and philosophical in his approaches. He has his own set ideals but never in his lectures or conversations, he never pushes any of these things into anybody's throats. That is his marvellous splendour. So I think I have been blessed by his presence. I have been blessed by his association and doubly blessed by his lectures and spiritual discources. This Yogi Maharaj has got his background education in Vedic and Vedantic scriptures under the great masters like Pattabhirama Shastri and Subramaniam Shastri. Fortunately, I am a distant bandhu (relative) of both of these erudite Vedic and Vedantic scholars under whom Swamiji had the great opportunity to be taught for more than three decades in Kashi. Speaking about Kashi one is reminded of the famous "Kashika Puradhinaath Kaal Bhairavam Bhaje." So to be associated with this Mahayogi, with this Mahapurusha, I think I have been blessed by God. I belong to a great parentage of a very traditional and conservative background. My friends, my parents well wisher's blessings have always been there to be a guidance for me to go into a kind of kinship and the kind of devoteeship with such master soul like Swami Satya Prakash. " Paritraya Sadhunaam Vinashaya cha dushkritaam dharma sansthapanaya sam bhavani yuge yuge." These mark the words of Krishna in Bhagwata Gita. In days of depression, in days of desolation, in days of shortcomings, in days of fights, I will be reborn to guide you to proper direction, to give you solace, to give you help. Don`t be worried Arjuna. These same words come to my mind whenever I listen to the lectures of Swami Satya Prakash. Let us all enjoy the bliss he gives to us. Thank You. Wish you all the best of Luck!!
